If an in home computer client calls at 3 PM from Hawaii Kai with a question or computer or cell phone challenge, it’s a lot easier to see the screen to solve the problem than have my in home computer client try to describe what’s going on. Your cloud backup such as Google Drive, Dropbox and if you’re using Office 365, OneDrive is NOT enough to keep your files safe and secure any longer! Cloud backup will help save your files when your computer crashes, BUT it won’t help if many of the modern viruses infect your computer such as the Ransomware Encryption Virus.
Linux Mint is more secure and faster than Windows. The operating system itself is FREE. It does however take a little skill to install it. So far I switched at least four of my in home computer clients here in Honolulu Hawaii and even Ewa Beach from Windows 10 with all of its bloated turtle speed software and bad updates to Linux Mint.
